I'm so tired
I’m so tired that I really want to cry. You know when you go for weeks with minimal sleep, but it feels like you’re ok when you wake up because you don’t feel tired? You know that it catches up to you right? Yea my body is shutting ME down. I’m too tired to tumble, ya’ll. This is an issue.
I wrote a poem to this song, today, in workshop...

I Think..
That I wear my poet well. Some people wear it like patchwork, with their accomplishments tripping from the pockets. I think I wear it like a lion’s coat. Humble, brave and less wind resistant than I would like. I wear it on my sleeves, on my wrists, even. Not so much on my chest. Or on a post-it note. I just…hold on to it…like it’s the last thing I’ll be left with....
